GroundLink pricing includes all driver compensation, making it a reliable choice for your airport transfer needs. Neither GroundLink nor its drivers will accept gratuities from customers, reinforcing our no-tipping policy. No part of the charges billed to customers represents a tip, gratuity, or service charge for drivers, service employees, or any other staff at GroundLink, ensuring transparency in our chauffeur service. Additional charges will be itemized on the customer’s billing statement when applicable (e.g. tolls, parking, airport and regulatory fees, operating surcharge). All published rates are subject to change without notice and are calculated and billed in U.S. dollars. Due to fluctuating currency exchange rates, U.S. dollar equivalents of international rates may vary, and applicable taxes will be charged as required. A 25% U.S. holiday surcharge, based on the fare, stop, and waiting time, will apply to all trips occurring on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Similar surcharges also apply to trips occurring on recognized holidays in locations outside the United States, including those for our shuttle service.
GroundLink offers standardized routes with flat-rate pricing for airport transfer services to and from most major cities and airports.
Wait time is defined as the duration between a scheduled pickup and a passenger entering the reserved vehicle. After a grace period of 60 minutes for international flights, 30 minutes for domestic flights, and 5 minutes for non-airport pickup reservations, a fee of $8.25 is charged for every five (5) minutes of wait time.
Stop Charges
A Stop Charge will apply for any added stops on the route to the drop-off location, plus an additional $8.25 per five (5) minute increment for any wait at the stop location that exceeds our 5-minute grace period. For passenger-requested stops off route during a flat-rate trip, the applicable hourly rate will be charged. A stop within the same pickup zone incurs a charge of $29.00, plus $8.25 for each five-minute waiting period at the stop. For example, if the pickup location is in NY-NEW YORK, the stop is also in NY-NEW YORK, and the drop-off is at JFK, the stop charge amounts to $29.00 plus any wait time. Conversely, a stop added in a different pickup zone will cost $45.00, along with $8.25 for each additional five-minute wait. For instance, if the pickup location is NY-NEW YORK, the stop is in NY-BROOKLYN, and the drop-off is at JFK, the stop charge will be $45.00 plus any wait time.
Stop Rules
Stop charges apply only if the pricing type is “FLAT” and are never applicable to hourly pricing. Stops must be “on route” to the drop-off location, meaning they should be in the same general direction or area. If a stop is out of the travel direction or in a different service area, the job must be booked as hourly service. There is a limit of two added stops on a transfer; if more stops are requested, the job must be booked hourly. If the pickup and drop-off addresses are the same with an added stop, this constitutes a Wait & Return reservation, which must be booked as hourly service. There are no free stops on a flat-rate transfer reservation. If you make a flat-rate reservation with an added stop, the system will automatically include the stop price in the estimated ride total for your chauffeur service.
Rides between locations where a flat-rate does not apply will be billed for the time the vehicle and chauffeur are at your service, with the vehicle hourly rate taking effect. Whether you’re using our airport transfer or chauffeur service, hourly rides will be billed per hour at the selected vehicle's prevailing hourly rate. Final charges are based on the actual ride duration, plus garage to garage time. Garage time (positioning) refers to the cost incurred for the vehicle and chauffeur to travel to your pickup location and return from your drop-off point. Please note that the minimum garage to garage time is 90 minutes. Hourly rates do not cover tolls, parking, taxes, and other miscellaneous charges, which will be added if applicable upon ride completion. For our shuttle service, time-based charges are billed in 30-minute increments.
Cancellation charges equal to the rate confirmed at the time of the reservation will apply unless:
Sedans are canceled more than one (1) hour prior to the scheduled pickup time.
International Sedans are canceled more than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled pickup time.
SUVs are canceled more than six (6) hours prior to the scheduled pickup time.
Sprinter/Vans are canceled more than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled pickup time.
Mini/Mid Coaches are canceled more than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled pickup time.
Motor Coaches are canceled more than fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled pickup time.
Limousines are canceled more than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled pickup time.
Coordinators are canceled more than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled arrival time.
A no-show fee equal to the base fare price of the trip, plus any applicable wait-time and child seat fees, will be charged when the passenger(s) fails to arrive at the designated location for their airport transfer. To avoid a no-show fee, call 1-800-718-5232 if you cannot locate your vehicle or chauffeur service. Cancellation policies are subject to change during special market events, including those affecting shuttle service.
Pets are welcome in GroundLink vehicles, making our airport transfer and chauffeur service accommodating for pet owners. If your pet weighs more than 15 pounds, they must be secured in a kennel crate. Smaller pets must either be leashed or placed in a carrying case and should not occupy the seat next to your chauffeur. Remember, certified service animals are exempt from crate requirements. To ensure a smooth ride for both you and your pet, it’s best to call us ahead of time at 1-800-718-5232 to arrange a pet-friendly chauffeur, especially if you require our shuttle service.
Neither GroundLink, nor any of its subcontractors or affiliates, shall be liable for or assume any liability or responsibility whatsoever for any lost or misplaced personal property or any other item left in a vehicle during an airport transfer or chauffeur service. In no event will GroundLink or any of its subcontractors or affiliates be liable or responsible for damages of any kind caused by any delay in performance or failure to perform, in whole or in part, any of their obligations in connection with the services, including shuttle service, where such delay or failure is due in part to fire, earthquake, weather, traffic, road construction, strikes, government-sanctioned embargo, flood, act of God, act of war or terrorism, act of any public authority or sovereign government, civil disorder, delay caused by any air or ground passenger carrier, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of GroundLink, its subcontractors or affiliates.
GroundLink provides child seats upon request, where available, for an additional fee of $25 per seat, which will be reflected in the “Other” fees in the price breakdown. Parents and guardians of children traveling in GroundLink vehicles during an airport transfer are responsible for installing any child safety seats. Due to liability insurance restrictions, the chauffeur cannot install a child seat.
The following items are prohibited from GroundLink vehicles: alcoholic beverages, glass containers, smoking, firearms, explosives, and fireworks. Please confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy, and agree that the terms of such policy are reasonable and satisfactory to you.
